Head of Group Accounting (m/f/d)

What we look for:
  • You take full ownership of all group-wide accounting, tax, and compliance matters, ensuring a robust, scalable, and audit-proof finance environment across the OMMAX Group.
  • You lead, manage, and further professionalize the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and prospectively IFRS. This includes consolidation, group reporting, and close coordination with auditors and tax advisors.
  • You oversee and navigate complex holding and investment structures, ensuring accurate mapping of equity holdings, intercompany relationships, financing flows, and SPV structures in the group accounts.
  • You supervise and support our international subsidiaries (UK, Italy, Netherlands) on all finance and accounting topics, ensuring compliant, efficient, and harmonized financial processes across all entities.
  • You develop, implement, and monitor transfer pricing frameworks and manage all intercompany reconciliations and cross-border financial flows within the group.
  • You act as the primary point of contact for national and international tax matters, collaborating closely with external experts and proactively managing tax risks, compliance, and group tax optimization.
  • You provide hands-on accounting support for holding entities and SPVs, including complex bookings, reconciliations, and alignment with group reporting requirements.
What we require:
  • You hold an excellent university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or group finance, ideally gained in a consulting, auditing, or Private Equity–related environment, and you have hands-on experience managing tax audits and financial due diligence requirements.
  • You have experience working with Private Equity investors and banking partners, especially in the context of financial reporting, stakeholder communication, and performance tracking.
  • You are proficient in accounting systems (ideally DATEV) as well as MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • You enjoy taking ownership and responsibility, bringing a strong can-do attitude, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You work independently, structured, and with strong attention to detail, while maintaining a high level of collaboration and team orientation.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
