(Junior) Accountant (m/w/d)

What we look for:
  • You support the Finance & Accounting team in the preparation and processing of ongoing financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger).
  • You assist with the monthly closing process, account reconciliations, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • You contribute to the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and external stakeholders.
  • You help optimize finance processes and internal documentation, identifying potential improvements in automation and data consistency.
  • You collaborate with internal departments and external partners (e.g. auditors, tax advisors, banks) to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • You take ownership of recurring accounting tasks and support ad-hoc analyses or special projects as needed.
What we require:
  • You hold a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, you have completed vocational training in accounting or finance.
  • You have at least 1–2 years of practical experience in accounting, controlling, or finance (ideally in a dynamic environment such as consulting or digital business).
  • You are familiar with basic accounting principles (HGB/IFRS) and have first experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g. Datev, SAP, NetSuite).
  • You have strong Excel skills; experience with Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
  • You work precisely, reliably, and structured, with a high attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
  • You are a proactive, communicative team player who enjoys working independently and solution-oriented.
  • You are fluent in English and German.
