Thank you to everyone who joined us for the fourth edition of Women in Finance, hosted by OMMAX in collaboration with Tenzing and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

As advocates for strong professional networks and gender diversity in the financial industry, we brought together female leaders across private equity, corporate law, and entrepreneurship to discuss defining success in an AI-driven world: leadership, networks, and long-term impact.

Key takeaways

AI adoption is no longer the differentiator. Almost every organization already uses it. The real gap is execution: an estimated 44% of pilots stall after launch due to weak data foundations, unclear governance, and no clear owner.
Technology accounts for only an estimated 30% of the value AI creates. The rest comes from leadership, change management, and adoption discipline.
As AI levels the playing field on analysis and diligence, the edge shifts to the judgment applied on top of it, and to the discipline to protect that judgment under pressure.
The barrier to testing a new idea, inside a firm or as a founder, has dropped sharply. The real differentiator is now the willingness to act.
Looking ahead, network strength and decision-making quality were named as the two factors that will matter more, not less, as AI use becomes standard.
