Barbara is a Munich-based corporate partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, specializing in cross-border private equity and M&A transactions, restructuring, and corporate law. She advises financial sponsors, portfolio companies, and strategic investors on complex buyouts, carve-outs, minority investments, joint ventures, and exits.
Her sector experience spans healthcare, technology, automotive, manufacturing, and e-commerce. Barbara studied law in Regensburg, Oxford, and Lausanne. She is consistently recognized by JUVE, Best Lawyers, and IFLR1000.
Aylin Akkay, Investor at Tenzing Private Equity
Aylin operates at the intersection of finance and technology, with a focus on building category-leading companies. Based in Munich, she supports Tenzing – a UK-headquartered private equity firm with over €4bn in assets under management – in expanding its presence in Germany and scaling tech and tech-enabled services businesses.
She focuses on sectors including HR, Office of the CFO, and GRC & Cyber, and serves on the boards of Mandata and Webexpenses. Prior to Tenzing, Aylin worked in Financial Due Diligence at PwC and led investments at PINOVA Capital, focusing on technology-driven Mittelstand companies.
