About Jan
With over ten years of experience, Jan Knaisch focuses on commercial sell- and buy-side due diligence as well as value creation for large- and mid-cap Private Equity funds and their portfolio companies. His sector expertise spans consumer, business services, and technology/software, with a strong focus on B2B and B2C digital and tech business models.
Before joining OMMAX, Jan worked as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group in New York and Munich within the Private Equity Practice. He began his career as a Consultant at Bain & Company in Munich, advising Private Equity clients. Over his career, he has led more than 100 buy-side commercial and operational due diligences and numerous strategic value creation programs.
Jan holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Administration & Finance from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and brings international academic experience.
