Raul Dragotoniu is Director Marketplaces at OMMAX, advising companies on marketplace strategy optimization and helping them scale their digital presence across leading platforms such as Amazon and TikTok Shop. His focus lies on driving commercial growth through data-driven marketplace strategies, operational excellence, and innovative go-to-market approaches.
Before joining OMMAX, Raul spent several years at Amazon, gaining experience in both the Retail and Marketplace divisions. He led strategic initiatives aimed at increasing commercial performance, improving operational efficiency, and optimizing logistics. Most recently, he was part of the TikTok Shop team, where he led the strategic development and operational launch of TikTok Shop in Germany.
At OMMAX, Raul has designed and implemented integrated Amazon channel strategies covering forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning, and led marketplace optimization projects focused on improving content quality, benchmarking, and stock performance. He has delivered actionable insights that enhanced visibility, conversion, and sell-through rates across product portfolios. As a strategic sparring partner, he supports clients in aligning commercial, operational, and advertising priorities with cross-functional Amazon teams.
Raul’s expertise spans E-Commerce and Marketplace growth strategy, Channel Management, and B2C operations across sectors such as FMCG, Home & Living, Beauty, and Fashion. He works with clients including ghd and KKR, leveraging his strong analytical skills to deliver measurable business impact.
Raul holds a B.Sc. in International Business Administration from Babeș-Bolyai University and an M.Sc. in International Business Administration with a focus on international management and marketing from the University of Vienna.
