About Erik Wirsing
Erik Wirsing is Vice President Global Innovation at DB Schenker AG. He grew up in a logistics family with their own freight forwarding business and has always had the passion for actively shaping the logistics of tomorrow.
Erik has been with DB Schenker for more than 22 years and has held various positions.
Since mid-2016, he has been heading the Global Innovation department as part of Global Ventures & Innovation within the CEO resort. His main focus is currently on innovation trends, R&D, early stage tech, start-up partnerships, innovation projects, communication and the DB Schenker Lab. In his work, Erik is always seeking new innovations.
