Dr. Christian Fürber is Partner Data & AI at OMMAX. He has over 20 years of experience in data management and is also an author and speaker.

About Christian

Dr. Christian Fürber is Partner Data & AI at OMMAX. He brings 20 years of data management experience and has built one of the first data governance organizations for the German Armed Forces.

Christian has held many roles, from data engineer to data owner. Among other things, he established one of the first data governance organizations for the German Armed Forces and introduced standardized data quality management there. Christian and his team have successfully implemented countless data projects and strategies for well-known companies in various industries, helping them derive significant added value from their data. In addition to his work at OMMAX, Christian is also an author and speaker at conferences (e.g., at MIT) and organizes the TDWI topic circle “Data Strategy & Data Governance".

Christian holds a doctorate in data quality from the Bundeswehr University Munich.
