Julian Sorg is Director Business Development at OMMAX, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives across the organization. With a strong background in transaction advisory and digital transformation, he brings a holistic perspective to driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence at OMMAX.

Julian began his career at OMMAX in the Transaction Advisory department, where he co-developed the company’s “Digital Due Diligence” offering and was instrumental in establishing the department’s structure and methodologies. He led numerous commercial and digital due diligences for leading private equity firms and family offices, gaining deep insights into digital business models.

He later transitioned into the Strategy team, where he led cross-functional teams on business transformation programs in the areas of digital, tech, data, and AI for international clients across business services, consumer goods, and e-commerce. His focus was on accelerating top- and bottom-line growth, enhancing customer value, and building robust technology and data infrastructures.

In his current role as Director Business Development, Julian contributes to the design and implementation of company-wide strategies and playbooks focused on commercial, operational, and M&A excellence. He provides data-driven insights to support senior management decision-making and oversees M&A activities, including the development and execution of post-merger integration strategies.

Julian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a master’s degree in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
