Apheon partners with Easi to accelerate international expansion

We would like to congratulate Apheon, a leading European private equity firm, which signed a binding partnership agreement with Easi (“Easi” or the “Company”), a leading Belgian provider of proprietary business software and managed IT services. Through this transaction, Apheon partners with Easi’s founder, the Company’s co-CEOs, and its broad base of employee shareholders, who together retain a significant shareholding alongside Apheon and will continue leading the Company.

This partnership marks the entry of the first institutional capital into Easi’s shareholder base and the beginning of a new phase of accelerated growth, as the Company scales its software platform and expands from its BeLux stronghold into international markets.

As part of the transaction, OMMAX conducted a comprehensive assessment of Easi technology landscape, software architecture, data capabilities, AI readiness, cybersecurity posture, and scalability potential to support Apheon in evaluating the company’s future growth opportunities.

Harry Seip, Partner and Head of Benelux at OMMAX, said:

“Easi represents a highly attractive technology platform with a strong proprietary software offering, a differentiated managed IT services capability and a distinctive employee ownership culture. Our technology due diligence focused on assessing the scalability of Easi’s platform, the strength of its software roadmap and the company’s readiness to support continued growth across Belgium, Luxembourg and international markets. We are pleased to have supported Apheon on this partnership and look forward to seeing Easi enter its next phase of expansion.”

Pieter Lambrecht, Partner, and Herbert Vanden Eynde, Managing Director at Apheon, commented:

“Easi is a truly exceptional company: a profitable, fast-growing software and managed IT services platform, a category-defining employee ownership culture, and a broad leadership team that has realised unparalleled growth for more than two decades. We are also pleased to have partnered with OMMAX throughout the transaction, whose strategic and tech due diligence provided valuable insights in support of our investment thesis. Our ambition is to support Easi in writing its next chapter, preserving the culture and the model that built the company, while bringing our pan-European footprint and buy-and-build experience to accelerate its expansion.”

With Apheon as a partner, Easi intends to accelerate its growth both organically in Belgium and Luxembourg and internationally, supported by Apheon’s pan-European network and buy-and-build track record. The Company will continue investing in its proprietary software roadmap, including the cloud-native, next-generation evolution of its core platform with AI-enabled functionality, while pursuing selective acquisitions to broaden its offering and geographic reach.
