OMMAX advised ECM-managed fund on the successful sale of their shares in Intermate to Samy Alliance
OMMAX advised GEP V, a fund managed by German private equity firm ECM Equity Capital Management, on the sale of their shares in the social media agency Intermate to Samy Alliance, supporting a major M&A transaction in European’s digital agency market.
The agency network Samy Alliance is originally from Spain and operates in 15 countries. With this deal, the network increases its footprint in Germany, in a fast-growing market for social media marketing services and in a highly attractive enterprise customer segment. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory and antitrust approvals.
The OMMAX team supported value creation activities (around commercial, tech & AI, and people topics) during the holding period and conducted a commercial and tech vendor due diligence, focusing on the following key areas:
- Value Creation: Focusing on commercial growth initiatives, organizational and leadership development, and technology and AI-driven transformation to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage
