OMMAX strengthens leadership team with appointment of former McKinsey Europe CFO Marcus Hohmann as Partner, Group CFO and COO

Munich, June 1, 2026 | OMMAX today announced the appointment of Marcus Hohmann as Partner, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Marcus will support all offices and local teams across Munich, Paris, London, Milan, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Berlin, with a particular focus on driving operational excellence and advancing AI-enabled transformation across the organization. With this strategic addition to the executive leadership team, OMMAX accelerates its ambition to become the leading AI-powered transformation partner for private equity firms, mid-sized companies, and global enterprises.

Marcus Hohmann joins OMMAX with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning finance, operations, strategy, and large-scale transformation. Most recently, he served as CFO for McKinsey & Company in Europe, where he led finance and administrative functions across a highly complex, multi-country organization, driving operational excellence, financial resilience, and sustainable growth.

Prior to his CFO role, Marcus started his career at McKinsey as an Associate in 2003 and was elected Partner in 2009. His main focus was advising global organizations on strategy, finance transformation, organizational and operational effectiveness, and enterprise-wide technology-driven transformation initiatives. His deep expertise from both Partner-level client service as well as internal management of a large international professional services organization makes him uniquely positioned to help scale OMMAX’s next phase of growth.
